The Team: Go See The City is a for-profit start-up developing a platform that connects restaurants and eateries with surplus food to consumers and nonprofits in search of food.

NextCycle Michigan Project: The team’s GO Zero initiative is a tech-enabled platform that enables businesses to sell surplus food (that would otherwise go to waste) at a discount before closing by creating same-day coupons. Additionally, they streamline the process of donating any remaining unsold food to local charities. This approach reduces food waste, lowers disposal costs for businesses, and helps provide more food to people in need. During their participation in NextCycle Michigan, the team will focus on identifying ideal project locations and building partnerships to expand access to zero waste solutions in Michigan .
