At the core, NextCycle Michigan is a business incubator, ready to nurture ideas for recycling technology, material collection and processing infrastructure, organics recovery, and recovered material end markets (including recycled content use in road construction). The program’s purpose is to build companies, jobs, and a circular economy in Michigan.

NextCycle Michigan is a Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) initiative providing support to drive innovation and connect funding to ideas that will improve material recovery and recycled-content manufacturing in Michigan.
