MICHIGAN RECYCLING OPPORTUNITIES

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has worked to gather information on the state of recycling in Michigan. Through market development, regional engagement, and data analysis we can better delineate a path forward to reach a 45% recycling goal. This meeting will highlight some of the data that identifies where Michigan has gaps in our recycling system, gaps that are opportunities to fill. We will also introduce a new program – NextCycle Michigan – that offers an alternative to traditional grant application approaches by leveraging state, private, and non-profit partnership funds to identify and incubate ideas that grow Michigan’s recycled materials supply chain and end markets.

This event is by invitation only.
