Innovate Michigan! Summit


The Innovate Michigan Summit is a Michigan State University EDA University Center for Regional Economic Innovation event that features presentations from economic experts, fellows, student-led/faculty-guided projects focusing on a variety of topics.

During the Friday, September 3rd, 10:30am ET breakout session, Jacob Namovich will provide highlights from a co-learning plan “Virtue and Policy in the Michigan Circular Economy.” This study focuses on the role that US government can play in circular economy transitions. As part of the study, Jacob interviewed Elisa Seltzer, senior consultant at RRS and project lead for NextCycle Michigan. The session will highlight how NextCycle Michigan creates a resourced space designed to foster innovation and transitions away from Michigan’s linear materials economy.
