Capital Area Recycling and Trash
The mission of Capital Area Recycling & Trash (CART) is to provide convenient and efficient collection of recycling, trash and yard waste in the City of Lansing, encouraging environmentally responsible behavior. This behavior, as well as sustainable practices, contributes to a cleaner and healthier environment, which ultimately enhances the quality of life for those who visit, live and work in the City. Through its Public Services Department, The City of Lansing strives to best serve its residents, businesses and institutions by maintaining key public infrastructure and services.
