Emterra Environmental USA has brought regional municipal recycling solution to areas of the state that have long been underserved, stretching from the Lansing metro area to points east. Their new, state-of-the-art recycling facility combines the latest technologies, including optical sorters, robotics, and artificial intelligence/machine learning, to create recycled commodities that will be used by American manufacturers to make new products, keeping resources within the local economy and out of landfills.
