Ice Mountain® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water, proud to call Michigan home for over 15 years, is striving to shape a waste-free future by developing sustainable packaging and improving recycling access and capabilities. In 2021, Ice Mountain launched better bottles in select sizes, made from 100% recycled plastic* and 100% recyclable when empty, helping to give existing materials new life. In Michigan, Ice Mountain is working to help build a more robust system that could address the lower recycling rates of PET bottles that are currently excluded from the state’s bottle deposit system. Bridging this recycling gap could help rescue this important resource from landfills, increase the recycling rate, support local economies and drive a circular economy.
