West Michigan Food Processing Association

The West Michigan Food Processing Association supports the food processing industry’s transition to healthier products and more sustainable practices such a reducing food waste, sustainable packaging, and renewable energy. Our work assists the food processing industry from “farm to table” through six key strategy pillars: economic development, education, incubation, logistics, healthy foods, and sustainability. The Association is pursuing an assessment of food processors’ sustainability practices, waste streams and sustainability education and training programs to identify gaps and propose solutions that can leverage the NextCycle Michigan network and resources.
