Developing an innovative continuous flow digestor to transform food and compostable products into a soil amendment product

Michigan State University (MSU) and Finite Phoenix’s continuous flow composter project is in its early stage. The team is out to prove the technology with a major hospital partner. During the NextCycle program, the team furthered their pilot project planning and connected with consumer packaging good brands to see if there was interest in funding more pilots. They are installing the machine at MSU to continue testing and collect results to further engage additional partners and aid in pilot deployments. The goal is to deploy six new flow composters throughout Michigan by the end of 2022.
