Learn About RIT & FLOWS Innovation Challenge Tracks
NextCycle Michigan is a program designed to connect entrepreneurs, companies, organizations, and communities to technical support, financial resources, and capacity building for recycling, recovery, and reuse initiatives.
But have you wondered where you fit? The program has a variety of pathways to participate depending on your project's focus. Two Innovation Challenge tracks will open for applications in mid-June. Join us to learn about eligibility, types of projects, how to apply, and deadlines.
Recycling Innovation & Technology (RIT): challenges teams to create novel material recovery or sorting technologies, recycled content products, new uses for organic materials, or other innovations in sustainable materials management.
Food, Liquids, and Organic Waste Systems (FLOWS): seeks teams with projects to transform any aspect of organics recovery – from food collection to new end markets for finished compost.
Representatives from the State of Michigan, past team participants, and program facilitators will share information on NextCycle Michigan. Bring your questions and get involved!
