Architectural Salvage Warehouse of Detroit’s Big Block Party

On Saturday, September 10th, Architectural Salvage Warehouse of Detroit is throwing a Big Block Party!

They have been committed to the community since its inception in 2003, relieving neighborhoods of blight and creating permanent jobs while saving valuable materials from landfill. Now, they're asking for your help in raising money to fund its warehouse renovation, which will allow them to quadruple the number of families they're able to support.

Being so involved with community improvement, it's only fitting that the fundraiser takes the form of a block party - a Big Block Party. With food, drink, and entertainment, they promise to live up to the name. They're also kicking off the first-ever Design IT exhibition for Detroit Month of Design, where work from artists in the Detroit and Metro-Detroit area will be auctioned. There will even be a silent auction full of made-in-Detroit goods and of course, a sneak peek into the warehouse!

Architectural Salvage Warehouse of Detroit is currently participating in the RSC programming and will be pitching its project at the 2022 NextCycle Showcase in October. Learn more about their initiative here.
