Foodservice Packaging Institute
The Foodservice Packaging Institute (FPI) actively pursues recycling and composting opportunities to help increase the recovery of foodservice packaging items – such as paper and plastic cups, containers and boxes, and paper bags – by working collaboratively with various stakeholders across the value chain. FPI and its members have engaged with municipal governments, communities, MRFs, and end markets to ensure materials collected in Michigan help accelerate (or support) the circular economy in the state and across the Midwest. FPI is also dedicated to sharing tools, resources and best practices to encourage more widespread recovery of foodservice packaging.
