The Team: Eastside Compost is a food scrap collection and composting company servicing the greater Lansing area. They offer curbside pickups for customers within the defined service boundaries and drop-off facilities for customers outside that area. Material is taken to one of three composting facilities, where it is combined with additional carbon-rich materials to begin the composting process. The finished compost is returned to customers and neighborhood partners.

NextCycle Michigan Project: Eastside Compost is focusing on scaling up their collection and composting operations to serve more customers, this includes planning for additional infrastructure, composting techniques, and marketing campaigns.
